Base Creative is young and growing website agency based in The Business Design Centre in Central London. Creating websites, content management systems and online marketing services for a range of companies and organisations, we are looking to expand our team with the addition of lively, enthusiastic, honest and talented people.

Do you use recruitment agencies? No, we do not use agencies.

Can I work from home? No, all our positions are full time and based in our studio.

I only have an online portfolio. Is that ok? Yes, as long as we can see the standard of your work then that's fine.

What will happen at my interview? This really depends on what role you are applying for. All staff will be interviewed by two team members - in some cases the department head and a director. Additionally, web designers will be asked to produce a piece of work from our pool of test briefs and present this at the interview, together with their portfolio of work. Front end (HTML/CSS) and back end (PHP/MYSQL) developers will receive an appropriate multiple choice test.

When will I know? You will know within 5 working days if you have the job.

We're a design agency! Remember we're a design agency. The work we do is all about attention to detail. Your CV must reflect this. Spelling or layout mistakes in something as important as your CV can sometimes mean lazy work.

Make an effort. If you are applying for a web designers position then we would expect to see an effort made in designing your CV.

Have a portfolio ready. If you are applying for a web designer's or a web developer's position then a portfolio is an absolute must. We will not consider anybody without a portfolio.

Show us your own work. Do not show us a website which you created the buttons for. We can spot what is and what isn't your work.

Be on time. Remember your time management is very important to us! Please try not to be early or late.
